Operating Table
The table which is positioned in the mid of the operation theatre is termed as Operation Theatre Table. The operation is carried out by making the patient lie on the Operation Theatre Table. It comprises the table top, transporter and the operating table column. Table tops are available in large variety which are meant for both specialist discipline and general surgery. The availability of this table is in both stationary and mobile units. If stationary operation table is considered, then it comprises table column strongly connected to the floor. The mobile operating table includes the change in its position with respect to the operating room. Mobile operating table enables the transportation to be easy while stationary operating table does not support transportation.
